Teresa Edwards
Teresa Edwards is the most decorated player in the history of USA Basketball. She is the first and only American basketball player (male or female) to compete in five Olympics. After winning her first gold medal in 1984, Edwards has compiled more than 20 years of professional basketball experience. Some of her accomplishments include: four gold medals in the Olympics (2000, 1996, 1988, 1984), USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year a record four times (2000, 1996, 1990 and 1987) and in August 2009 Teresa Edwards will be inducted in the Olympic Hall of Fame.
